Fiber Art Sculpture: Stump House on a Hill with Mushrooms
This soft sculpture is a decor piece, but it may also be used for gentle, imaginative play by older children. It's the perfect home for little figurines, or fairy folk!
The stump is made from scraps of thick wool felt leftover from a local bag designer. It features unique patterns of tree bark & tree ring stitching. The mossy hill is made from an upcycled sweater. It sits on a thick wool felt base, and has three stepping stones leading to the orange front door.
Three wool felt spotted mushrooms in retro 70s colors grow up from the base of the stump. A variety of wool felt grasses and plants spring up from the mossy base. The stump and hill are stuffed with scraps of fleece.
The sculpture is about 4" tall, and the base is 5" wide.
It is a one of a kind piece - imagined, sketched, cut and sewn entirely by me with lots of love & attention to detail.
*NOT for rough play, babies, or young children.
